🏡 METRO VANCOUVER HOME SALES DECLINE, WHAT SELLERS NEED TO KNOW

September 2026 saw 1,618 sales across detached homes, townhomes, and condos in Metro Vancouver, down 9.2% from the 1,781 sales recorded in September 2025, based on the GVR REALTOR® Report.

But not every segment of the market is experiencing the same conditions.

While condo sales have declined significantly, detached home sales increased modestly. This highlights why understanding your specific property type and neighbourhood is so important when preparing to sell.

For homeowners considering selling, today's market requires a thoughtful approach to pricing, presentation, and marketing.

With buyers having more options and sales activity remaining subdued, properties need to be positioned competitively to attract attention.

A successful sale starts with understanding current market conditions, reviewing comparable properties, and developing a strategy tailored to your home.

📩 Thinking about selling? Let's discuss your home's current market value and how to position it effectively in today's market.
